My background has been primarily in the arts and writing, with a wide variety of roles including working as: a dresser in the West End, a writer for many BBC Radio 4 dramas and adaptations, as well as many published and produced stage plays and stories. Alongside my coaching practice I am a workshop facilitator for the Royal Literary Fund, where I support people who are working their way through many different areas of recovery (i.e. bereavement, addiction, depression and anxiety). I have led workshops with organisations that include The Royal College of Nursing, Camden Reintegration Base (engaging with pupils close to exclusion), various unions, as well as one to one sessions with NHS staff, both medical and non-medical and the London Ambulance Service. Also for the RLF I co-facilitated a group of foster children on life blog writing about their lived experiences of being in care, or around any subject they choose. I have met some extraordinary and inspirational people in all areas of my work and relish the collaborative experience.
My coaching practice enhances every area of my personal and professional life, and with my therapy training I hope to broaden my client support and offer additional ways of working.
Utilising my creative background, I work as a creative mentor, bringing my experience to sessions and working with clients on their creative journey.
I hold full public liability insurance and am DBS checked. I value and champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in my practice and in my life. I have a Diploma in Professional Development in Gestalt Therapy and Theory, and am a trainee counsellor in Gestalt therapy.
Do you feel held back? Is there an area you want to change in your personal or professional life? Then let’s have a conversation and see if we can work together to support those changes, and put them into practice. If you can’t find the meaning to make that first move, we will find a way together. More importantly, it will be your way. If you’d like to know more, please message me.
